The Rapixel iBX-SWU640B is a high-performance SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) area scan camera engineered for advanced industrial inspection, machine vision, and scientific imaging applications. Equipped with a 640 × 512 resolution InGaAs sensor featuring a 15 μm pixel pitch and 3/4" optical format, the camera delivers exceptional sensitivity and image quality across an extended SWIR spectral range up to 2200 nm.
Extended SWIR Spectral Advantage
The extended SWIR spectral range beyond conventional SWIR imaging significantly enhances material contrast, especially in the 1900–2200 nm region where many materials exhibit strong absorption characteristics. This enables more accurate differentiation of materials that are difficult or impossible to detect using visible or standard NIR imaging.
As a result, the iBX-SWU640B is ideally suited for moisture detection, polymer identification, mineral sorting, and advanced material inspection, providing reliable imaging performance in complex industrial and research environments.
